Dining With Duncan

It's amazing how much I miss the e-mail station stools.

This week, I have been overwhelmed by two of my friends, who shared with me new food adventures. The first comes from Heather Sulok, who shared a recipe for what she calls:

Puppy Chow

What you'll need:
comparable amounts of chocolate chips and peanut butter
Chex cereal
powdered sugar (as available)

Put the peanut butter and the chocolate in a bowl and mix together. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds or until suitably melted. Fold the Chex cereal into the peanut butter and chocolate. Return to the microwave for another 20-30 seconds. Remove from the microwave and let cool after sprinkling with powdered sugar. Eat and enjoy.

This could also be enjoyed warm, eaten with a spoon.

Our second contribution comes from Elaine Vozar, who has inspired a new feature:

Food Facts

FF: The cafeteria salad dressings in the generic plastic bottles are Collins dressings, made in our own cafeteria. Enjoy their homemade goodness. I recommend the Bleu Cheese.

FF: The vegan mashed potatoes are made with real potatoes, not powder, as opposed to the real mashed potatoes, which come from a box. Good to know.
